For those of you love handcrafted things but just don't seem to have the patience or ability to create them I have a super easy fix! As back to school is rapidly approaching many of us college bound students are searching for a little pop of color to brighten our drab concrete dorm walls. I decided to brighten my walls by creating some decorative frames {post coming soon}, but if that isn't for you I have another great idea. 

My friend Ms. Hannah Gene Martin has recently started up an Etsy account {under the name LillyGeneLetters} and she hand paints letters in Lilly Pulitzer inspired patterns!

With these super cute customizable letters you can mix and match these fun Lilly patterns for a fraction of the price! LillyGeneLetters sells each letter for $10.99 {plus shipping} and you can select your letter and the pattern you want {First Impression, Chiquita Bonita, Sunkissed}. 

These letters are perfect for dorm rooms, nurseries or just wall decorations! Mix and match three of the letters to create a cute and colorful monogram display. The possibilities are endless on what you could do with these super fun and bright Lilly Pulitzer inspired letters.

Christmas Candle Craft

So here we go…. with another mason jar craft! This Christmas craft is perfect for a table centerpiece, a gift, or as a holiday decoration. All the supplies you need for this project you may have laying around the house {if you are crafty} or you can buy them and reuse them for a TON of seasonal projects. Once Christmas is over remove the candle, ribbon, and cranberries and create something new for the next season.

This adorable craft came to only $8.00 and took only about 5 minutes to create!

Materials you will need:

• Mason Jar
• To fill: Cranberries, glass beads, small christmas ornaments, pine cones, nuts {the options are endless}
• A candle
• To decorate with: ribbon, garland, twine {anything!}

To create the jar you need to place a few of your filler decorations {we used cranberries} to slightly raise your candle. 

Then, place the candle and add a few more filler pieces around the candle! 

Next, add your ribbon or garland to the top of the jar and add the spin top to finish it off!

Fall is full of boots, socks, and sweaters but the perfect way to pull together any fall outfit is with a great nail color. Finding the perfect red, a deep enough purple, and a grey enough grey can be quite the task so we have created a collection of all of our favorite fall nail polishes.

Attention fun seekers: I have an activity for you!

I'm sure many of you {who live near the water} have seen people attempting to stand on surf boards and use giant oars to push themselves through the water. Have you ever sat back and wondered, "what in the world are they doing?" Well I'm here to tell you! Those surfboarding people are paddle boarding {a fun ocean exercise used to strengthen core muscles and tone arms}.
Although it sounds like a lot of hard work propelling yourself through the water, it is actually very relaxing and easy! For Christmas I payed for my boyfriend {Charlie} and I to go paddle boarding. We had not been able to use the gift certificate until last weekend because of our very time consuming sports {Me. Volleyball. Charlie. Basketball and Track}. It was probably the most fun I've had in a while.
Getting up on the board was the most difficult part of the entire hour. "Both feet must be shoulders' width apart and straight towards the front of the board, you can't sway or you will fall ... blah blah blah blah..." The man we rented the boats from was very specific on how to get onto the boards. Once on the board it was very easy to manage and it barely felt like I were working my core and arms. I definitely thought that I would be falling off the board every 5 seconds because I have terrible balance, but it was very easy to remain on the board {when you weren't trying to splash someone}.Paddle boarding is a great way to enjoy exercising without realizing you are exercising! Definitely look into going paddle boarding if you live near the water and you want a relaxing fun time. It was $25 per person for an hour where I took Charlie and it was well worth the money. I had so much fun with him, I would 100% go again!
Some Suggestions:



-Wear plenty of sunscreen! Being out on the water gets you burnt quickly.
-Do Not wear expensive sunglasses! I was very nice and I lent Charlie my black Ray Bans Wayfarers... he fell into the ocean and my sunglasses sunk to the bottom {luckily after 15 minutes of searching he found them}!
-Expect to get wet
