the thigh gap

Feet together… thighs apart. ugh. It used to be collar bones and hip bones and now... it's the thigh gap. If you haven't heard of or noticed the thigh gap before, you will now {sorry}.

A small space between your thighs is apparently the next best thing to clear skin, shiny hair, and a small waist. I think the thigh gap has become such a craze since leggings have become pants.

Now that some spring break diets have started {for some smart crazies}, how can we get that gap?!

{Id be cool with her abs, too}

Robyn Lawley is an Australian model {who is stunnnnning} but is on the opposite end of this spectrum. Her thighs "kiss" and she is proud of it. This curvy voluptuous model has an important message that everyone {thigh gap or not} should listen to. She said, "I want my thighs to be bigger and stronger. I want to run faster and swim longer. I suppose we all just want different things, but women have enough pressure as it is without the added burden of achieving a “thigh gap.” ... We have the power to change perceptions about body image—and we have the power to stop harmful trends like the “thigh gap."

1. Kim Kardashian
2. Beyonce
3. Hillary Duff
4. Jennifer Lopez
5. Jennifer Lawrence
6. Tyra Banks
7. Kate Winslet
8. Hayden Panettiere

What do these eight beautiful & in shape women have in common.. NO THIGH GAP! Not to beat a dead horse… but… you can be beautiful without the gap.

There are a few ways to help you achieve this highly coveted space between your legs but a lot of it {unfortunately} is left to genetics. Most often, you can't have a great a$$ and a thigh gap... it's only fair girls, you really shouldn't be able to have it all.

Iffffff, you still want to give the thigh gap a shot… here are some exercises we have collaborated that can help you achieve this look.

If you are giving the thigh gap a shot: good luck & may the odds be ever in your favor
If you are thinking "hell to the no!": MORE POWER TO YOU.

Christmas Vacation

So after a long break from the blogging world it is time to get back into things and start writing again. During our lovely Christmas Vacation we went to London and Paris for a week. It was fantastic! The travel crew was Mom, Dad, Paige, myself and Charlie :) We saw sooo many beautiful sights from the Tower of London to West Minster Abbey, from the Sacré-Cœur to the Eiffel Tower. Here are some picture from our fantastic trip. ENJOY!

For any of you Beatles fans {like Charlie}, you'll be happy to know that we took a little walk across Abbey Lane !

Anyone know what is so special about 221B Baker Street?
Little Hint: a very very famous detective from a fiction novel lived there
Sherlock Homes!

Royal Albert Hall

Famous Pub- "The Punchbowl" was owned by Madona and her husband Guy Richie
We watched the changing on the guards! and Charlie was a little cold so he tried keeping his nose warm on my latte! It was a beautiful day
After the changing of the guards we wandered down the Mall towards Buckingham Palace!

hahaha :)

House of Parliament
Big Ben

Horse Guard's Parade
Next we went and saw the House of Parliament, Big Ben and Horse Guard's Parade. All three of these buildings were incredible! For those of you who followed the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, you might recognize the name or the picture of Horse Guard's Parade. It was where the Beach Volleyball was held! What an incredible atmosphere that must've been :)

The entire trip through London was provided by a taxi tour company called "London Tours By Taxi" and our tour guide was Adrian Rouse. We would 100% reccomend this tour to anyone who wants to see the city, quickly and without a large tour. We were able to jump of of the taxi cab, take some pictures and then learn about the sights as we drove from sight to sight. It was fantastic! It is must when touring London!

Our next stop was Paris! None of us had ever been to Paris before, besides mum, and none of us spoke French so this was an experience! First we went to the Sagré-Cœur {which means Sacred Church}.
Arc de Triomphe.

Eiffel Tower

The beautiful Eiffel Tower! It was incredible, this giant building just placed in the middle of a city.

The next part of our trip was by far my favorite. We went to the Love Lock Bridge. Charlie and I had special ordered a lock from www.makelovelocks.com and we had our names, anniversary date and an eiffel tower put on it. We attached our lock to the bridge and threw the key into the river. It was so amazing!

Our final stop in Paris was the beautiful Notre-Dame.

:) hope you enjoyed scrolling through all of our trip! let us know what you did this christmas vacation. Hope everyone is having a very wonderful New Year.

London & Paris Trip... Stay Tuned!

Some of you have probably noticed our lack of posting over the past two weeks. Its not because we are loosing our love of blogging or because we've run out of things to blog about {trust me we have LOADS!}. Its because we've been, plain and simple, BUSY! Being a second year college student and a senior in high school we've had full plates with reviews, midterms and holiday get togethers. Also, we've been out of the country the past 6 days! And we, unfortunately, didn't have internet and we were unable to post about our lovely trip to London and Paris. But now that Santa has come and gone, its time for us to sit down with all our new blogging presents {yeee!} and begin writing and telling all of you about our vacation. So enjoy your family time today and get ready for an explosion of posts!
